Learn how to combine transparent and opaque watercolors in this workshop. Watercolors create transparent, suggestive passages while gouache introduces translucent and opaque shapes.

Join me as we explore impressionistic drawing and painting using graphite and black ink, 
watercolors, and acrylics. During the first session you will draw loosely so you go beyond literal 
renditions of what you see. In the second session, sample the impressionistic possibilities of 
watercolor. In the final workshop, explore the range of acrylic impressionistic techniques.

Join me as we explore expressionistic drawing and painting using graphite and black ink, watercolors, and acrylics. During the first session you will draw loosely and boldly so you express your emotional reaction to what you see. In the second session, you will explore the relationship between subjects and spaces using watercolor. In the final workshop, you will experiment with bold acrylic colors and innovative brush strokes.
